I actually wanted a relatively straight forward GPS unit without spending a fortune. The Garmin nuvi 755T is a good size in contrast to some of the competition and the brilliant screen is very vivid and clear and exceptionally easy to observe in daylight. It took five minutes to fix on to its present position when switched on for the first time. On screen menus are easy to use, the directions are very complete, and the instructions are exceptionally easy to view.
I took the Garmin nuvi 755T with me to Dallas and it got me there without issues. Displayed directions are clear and the interface is very straight forward. Entering addresses is very easy, route calculation is reasonably fast. My only moan with the screen is that the GPS product is a bit too bright during the hours of darkness and the brightness is set to low.
POI was very helpful. POI’s can be searched by Name, Category and then either search your present position, in a different place or near your destination. My Wife and I like the listing of POI Categories, amazingly user-friendly.
On the whole, I am extremely satisfied with the Garmin nuvi 755T and would willingly recommend it to anyone looking for a GPS unit.
