I personally hunted for a relatively straight forward car GPS navigation system without spending loads of money. The TomTom ONE 130S is a nice size in contrast to some of the other GPS devices and the screen is very vivid and extremely easy to read in the daytime. It took five minutes to fix on to its present position when started for the first time. The menus are easy in use, the directions are very full, and the routes are exceptionally easy to read.
I took the TomTom ONE 130S with me to Dallas and it got me to the exact address without getting lost. Route plans are clear and the display on screen is quite straight forward. Planning your route is very easy, route calculation is nicely fast. My only gripe with the screen is that the automotive GPS system is a bit too bright after nightfall and the brightness is set to low.
POI was extremely useful. You can search POI by Name, Category and then hunt near you, in another city or near your destination. My Wife and I like the list of Points of Interest Categories, awfully helpful.
In general, I am extremely happy with the TomTom ONE 130S and would gladly recommend it to friends and family.
