The Garmin nuvi 260W is amazingly simple and intuitive to use to find your route. The start screen icons are easy enough and the screen is not cluttered at all, offering you effortless access to view the map or select whichever functions you need.
The directions given by the Garmin nuvi 260W seem to be incredibly accurate. The GPS unit informs you with voice guidance in the shape of "Turn right in 2 miles onto Hunter Street" at ranges of 2 miles, 0.5 miles, and just before a turn, giving lots of warning prior to the next turn. Say you have a turn just after another one, the Garmin nuvi 260W will also add "Turn right onto Second Avenue, followed by a left turn." The automotive GPS system is very good with freeways, allowing you lots of notice which side of the freeway you should be on ahead of a split in the road or the exit. I find myself rarely having to look at the screen because the voice directions are so exact. Looking at the accuracy of the routes this GPS device always directs me to my destination very well.
