The Magellan Maestro 3200 is very straightforward and smart to use to plan a route. The start screen icons are uncomplicated enough and the display is not confusing at all, allowing you trouble-free access to read the map and select any functions you need.
The directions provided by the Magellan Maestro 3200 seem incredibly accurate. The automotive GPS system directs you with voice directions in the form of "Turn right in 0.5 miles onto Second Avenue" at intervals of 2 miles, 0.5 miles, and shortly before a turn, giving ample of warning before the next turn. When you have a manoeuvre directly after another one, the Magellan Maestro 3200 will also add "Turn left onto Second Avenue, followed by a right turn." The automotive GPS system is amazingly good with freeways, providing you lots of notice where on the freeway you should be on ahead of a split in the freeway or an exit. You will find that you are only occasionally having to look at the route display because the voice directions are so exact.
