The directions provided by the Garmin nuvi 270 seem to be extremely accurate. The car GPS navigation system talks to you with voice instructions in the form of "Turn right in 1 miles onto Simpson Street" at intervals of 2 miles, 0.5 miles, and soon before a turn, giving loads of warning ahead of the next turn.
