The Lowrance XOG is awfully easy and smart to use to find the best route. The main screen is effortless enough and the screen is not confusing at all, offering you trouble-free access to look at the map or select the functions you need.
Directions provided by the Lowrance XOG look very accurate. The car GPS navigation system directs you with voice guidance in the appearance of "Turn right in 2 miles onto Third Avenue" at intervals of 2 miles, 0.5 miles, and right before a turn, giving loads of warning ahead of the next turn. When you have a road just after another one, the Lowrance XOG will also add "Turn right onto Forth Avenue, followed by a right turn." The GPS unit is incredibly good with freeways, providing you plenty of notice where you should be on ahead of a split in the freeway or the exit. I am only occasionally having to look at the display as the voice directions are so precise. Route wise this automotive GPS system directs me to my destination awfully well.
