Directions provided by the Garmin nuvi 255 appear incredibly accurate. The GPS unit directs you with voice directions in the appearance of "Turn right in 1.5 miles onto Second Avenue" at distances of 2 miles, half miles, and just before a turn, giving loads of warning ahead of the next turn. Perhaps you have a manoeuvre straight away after another one, the Garmin nuvi 255 will also add "Turn right onto Alexander Street, followed by a left turn." The car GPS navigation system is awfully good with freeways, giving you plenty of notice which side of the freeway you should be on just before a split in the road or an exit. You will find that you are only occasionally having to look at the screen because the voice prompts are so correct. Route wise this GPS device directs me to my destination awfully well.
