The Navman is extremely straightforward and clever to use to find your route. The start screen icons are easy enough and the display is not confusing at all, offering you easy access to view the map or select any functions you need.
Directions provided by the Navman seem extremely accurate. The GPS unit alerts you with voice guidance in the appearance of "Turn right in 1.5 miles onto Alexander Street" at ranges of 2 miles, half miles, and shortly before a turn, giving loads of warning ahead of the next turn. When you have a road immediately following another one, the Navman will also add "Turn left onto Sixth Avenue, followed by a left turn." The GPS device is awfully good with freeways, allowing you plenty of notice where on the freeway you should be on prior to a split in the road or an exit. I am only occasionally having to look at the display because the voice commands are so correct. Instruction wise this GPS unit always gets me to my destination brilliantly well.
