The TomTom GO 720 is awfully simple and clever to use to find your route. The menu is simple enough and the screen is not cluttered at all, giving you easy access to read the map or select whatever functions you need.
The directions provided by the TomTom GO 720 look very accurate. The GPS product informs you with voice guidance in the form of "Turn left in 2 miles onto Thompson Street" at distances of 2 miles, 0.5 miles, and soon before a turn, giving loads of warning ahead of the next turn. If you have a manoeuvre directly following another one, the TomTom GO 720 will also add "Turn right onto Washington Street, followed by a right turn." The GPS device is awfully good with freeways, allowing you lots of notice which side you should be on prior to a split in the road or an exit. I am rarely having to look at the route because the voice prompts are so exact. Looking at the accuracy of the routes this automotive GPS system always gets me to my destination amazingly well.
