I actually bought the Garmin nuvi 270 for one of our sons as I already had a already fitted GPS in my Daihatsu. I prefer this to mine! The Garmin nuvi 270 is a great example for car gps navigation systems, easy to use, great display and the icons are easy to follow. It was a simple installation and our daughter is over the moon. I looked at a lot of reviews to uncover the most suitable unit and I am thankful we did. I highly recommend this unit. Since purchasing ours a few of our friends have bought their own. All of them love this unit. It matters not if you get the cheapest unit or the top of the range one with all of the features you should be very happy with these car gps navigation systems.
How great a gadget is the Garmin nuvi 270. The user interface is very undemanding to use, it looks brilliant and it works just as my daughter needs it to. Quality wise it is very good, it does not feel cheap and can easily be put into a trouser pocket or handbag. The unit comes with a practical suction bracket which can be turned several different ways, up and down as well as side-to-side. Talk about an easy setup. I liked that you can decide on a selection of routes, such as quickest time, least distance, least freeway for your final destination. POIs are plentiful and could be helpful if you are in an unfamiliar area and hungry or want a snack.
