Garmin nuvi 500 is a brilliant gadget and all of us are exceedingly pleased with it.

As a present I purchased the Garmin nuvi 500 for one of our daughters as I already had a factory installed GPS in my Peugeot. It puts mine to shame! The Garmin nuvi 500 is a great example for car gps navigation systems, dead easy in use, lovely screen and the set up is very straight forward. It was an easy installation and our daughter loves it. We checked each make to uncover the best one for our needs and I am happy we did. I really recommend this GPS. Since getting ours a few people we know have got their own. They are happy they did. If you buy the cheapest unit or the best one with all of the features you will be very pleased with these car gps navigation systems.

As you can see I am thrilled with the Garmin nuvi 500. Out of the box it is very straightforward to use, it looks great and it works just as my daughter needs it to. Size wise it is particularly good, it does not feel inexpensive and can without difficulty be slipped into a trouser pocket or purse. It also is supplied with a helpful suction bracket which can be turned several different ways, both downwards and upwards as well as side-to-side. An easy setup. We liked that you can decide on a variety of routes, such as fastest time, shortest distance, least freeway for your final destination. POIs are available and could be very useful if you are in an untried area and hungry or need a phone.
