As a present I got the Garmin nuvi 500 for one of our daughters as I have a already fitted GPS in my BMW. It puts mine to shame! The Garmin nuvi 500 is a leader in car gps navigation systems, easy to use, great display and the set up is very straight forward. A very simple installation and my daughter is over the moon. Each model was checked out to discover the most suitable unit and I am delighted we did. My daughter never leaves home without it. Since purchasing ours a few people we know have purchased their own. They are happy they did. So whether you get the least expensive model or the finest one with all of the features you should be very happy with these car gps navigation systems.
Don’t leave home without your Garmin nuvi 500. The user interface is awfully undemanding to use, it looks fantastic and it works just as my daughter needs it to. In terms of its physical attributes it is exceptionally good, it does not feel cheap and can easily be put into a jacket pocket or bag. The unit comes with a handy suction bracket that can be turned several different ways, down and up as well as side-to-side. Very straightforward. We liked that you can choose a number of routes, such as fastest time, shortest distance, least freeway for your final destination. POIs are plentiful and could be extremely helpful if you are in an unknown area and hungry or short of gas.
