We did an massive amount of research in relation to GPS units. I read the reviews in magazines and played with the products in the stores. The Garmin nuvi 765T won with price and features. I was primarily looking for a GPS to buy to condense drive time to work. Different routes are available that I can drive to work. Owing to traffic, one route can be less hassle than another route. Therefore, I wanted a car GPS navigation system that could aid me with that selection. We also wanted the means to have control over altering the route. Additionally, I also didn't want a GPS unit that required me to place an aerial on the windshield to acquire traffic signals.
The Garmin nuvi 765T has exceeded my expectations. My daily travel time has been slashed by 25 minutes. Thrillingly I have created new routes that were greatly faster than ones that I had been taking for a very long time.
On a side note, I really recommend buying a seat bolt type mount device. I purchased one and I think it is brilliant. My automotive GPS system sits low and out of view. I will take the Garmin nuvi 765T out of my car without remembering to hide the mount. We still get a quality traffic signal and neither of us worry about advertising our GPS product to thieves and we don't need to take a mount down and replace it when I go to and from work.
