I did an enormous amount of research concerning GPS devices. We looked in magazines and tried out my favoured GPS in the stores. The Magellan RoadMate 1212 came top with all my needs covered. We were principally looking for a GPS to buy to ease travel time to work. There are many ways that I can take to work. Depending on the time of day, one route could be better than another route. Because of this, I wanted a GPS product that could assist me with that decision. My other half and I also wanted the capacity to have control over shifting the route. Also, I also didn't want a GPS product that required me to put an aerial on the windshield to acquire traffic signals.
The Magellan RoadMate 1212 has more than met my expectations. Daily travel has been reduced by fifty five minutes. And I have found new routes that were substantially faster than ones that I had been taking for a long time.
A piece of advice, I greatly recommend getting yourself a seat bolt type mount device. We purchased one and I think it is extremely helpful. My GPS product sits low and out of sight. I simply take the Magellan RoadMate 1212 out of my car without remembering to hide the mount. I still get a quality traffic signal and we don’t worry about advertising my GPS unit to thieves and my partner and I don't need to take a mount down and replace it when I go to and from work.
