We did an enormous amount of research in relation to which GPS is best for us. My other half and I checked many websites and played with my favourites in my local store. The Magellan Maestro 4250 was our selection with price and features. I was chiefly looking for a GPS device to decrease drive time to work. Different routes are available that I can take to work. Owing to traffic, one route could be faster than a different route. Therefore, I wanted a car GPS navigation system that could help me with that decision. I also wanted the facility to have control over changing the route. Furthermore, I also didn't want a GPS device that required you to position an antenna on the windshield to acquire traffic signals.
The Magellan Maestro 4250 has performed above my expectations. My commute time has been cut by forty five minutes. And I have created new routes that were distinctly shorter than ones that I had been using for many years.
As a piece of advice, I would definitely recommend purchasing a seat bolt type mount device. I got hold of one and I think it is brilliant. My car GPS navigation system sits low and out of view of the windshield. I simply take the Magellan Maestro 4250 out of my car without needing to hide the mount. My other half and I still get a quality traffic signal and neither of us worry about advertising my GPS unit to thieves and I don't need to take a mount down and then replace it when I go to and from work.
